The Dashboard

EssentialEvery Capture role

The Dashboard is where Axis Capture opens: where this workspace stands right now. It puts the work that needs you first — suggestions, deadlines on committed work, your tasks — and the figures below it. Every number on it is one you could find on another screen; the Dashboard reads them together. Opening Axis Capture, or any older link to it, lands here.

TL;DR — Read Worth a look and Needs attention first, clear My tasks, and ask What to do first when you want a suggestion. The figures below show matches, saved work, deadlines and pipeline value at a glance.

Getting started

While a workspace is new, the Dashboard also guides you through the first setup steps — the company profile, your target codes and the rest of Getting started — so the panels below have something to work from.

The work panels

Worth a lookStanding suggestions, checked once a day: strong matches waiting, opportunities with deadlines coming up, and watched forecasts expected to go out soon.Act on it takes you to the matches, deadlines or forecasts it is about. Dismiss keeps it away until the numbers change. Answering needs Business Development User or above.
Needs attentionDeadlines within 14 days on work you have committed to — on the board, saved, or strongly matched — overdue first. Each row says why it is listed: On the board, Saved or Strong match. A deadline on its own is not a priority; work stays here until the response is in.
My tasksCapture tasks assigned to you that are overdue or due today, on the workspace's calendar.Open the record goes to the pursuit, solicitation, organization or contact. Your full list is in your workspace tasks.
What to do firstAsk for up to three suggested next steps, drawn from this Dashboard's own figures.Advanced plan, with the workspace's AI switch on. It never produces a number of its own. See below.
Data source freshnessWhether the opportunity sources are current.Show all … sources opens the per-source list. See Where the data comes from.

What to do first

Choose Suggest what to do first. The suggestion reads the figures on this Dashboard and points at the ones that deserve attention — for example Give every pursuit an owner: an unowned one gets no deadline warnings, Re-score your matches: your profile has moved since they were last scored, or Record the bid decision on a pursuit that has been sitting in review. It is a prompt, not an instruction: you know things the figures do not.

If your plan does not include AI assistance, the workspace's AI switch is off, or a fair-use limit has been reached, the panel says which — and everything else on the Dashboard works without it.

When a figure is missing

The Dashboard says why rather than showing a misleading number:

  • Opportunity data is still being prepared — deadline figures that depend on the shared data are not available yet; your workspace's own figures still are.
  • The shared award data could not be reached — competitor wins are not shown. That is not the same as nobody winning anything.
  • Your tasks could not be read just now — the tasks panel is not saying nothing is due.
  • Matching has nothing to compare against — create the company profile.
