Reports
Reports gathers the reports offered by the modules your workspace uses. Each module brings a set of starter reports that are ready the first time anyone opens the page. Run one to see its chart and full table, download it, or have it sent to you on a schedule.
TL;DR — Open Reports in the left rail. Pick a report to run it. Use CSV, Excel or PDF to download, and Schedule to have it delivered. A module administrator can edit, copy, reset or delete a report for the whole workspace.
Who sees which report
Your role in each module decides which of its reports you see. A report built on figures your role cannot open on the module's own screens is not listed for you. A Read-Only user in Axis Capture, for example, sees the pipeline and market reports, but not the win-rate reports.
Downloading follows the module's own rule. In Axis Capture, downloading needs the export permission and a plan that includes export.
Reading a report
| Field | What it does | Accepted values / default |
|---|---|---|
| Chart and table | The report's answer: a chart of its first figure, and every figure in the table below. | Sort the table by any column. Money is shown in whole dollars; the download keeps the exact amounts. |
| Covers | The filters and time window the report uses, in words. | Example: Stage — Won, Lost, No bid. Last 12 months. |
| As of | When the report was run, on your workspace's clock. | Windows such as the last 12 months start at midnight in your workspace's time zone. |
| Public record generation | For reports built on public contract data, the version of that data used. | Two runs on the same generation always agree. |
Scheduling a report
Choose Schedule to have a report delivered daily, weekly or monthly as a notification that opens it. Anyone who can open a report can schedule it for themselves. A module administrator can also add colleagues — only colleagues who can open the report themselves.
Each delivery runs the report for the person receiving it. If someone's role changes and they can no longer open the report, their delivery is skipped rather than sent.
Changing a report
A module administrator can:
- Edit — rename it, choose which figures it shows, what it groups by and how it is drawn. The change applies to everyone in the workspace.
- Make a copy — keep a separate version as the workspace's own.
- Reset to starter — replace your edits with the module's current version of a starter report.
- Delete — remove it for everyone, with its deliveries. A deleted starter can be restored from the bottom of the list.
Edited starters are yours
When a module improves one of its starter reports, workspaces that never edited it get the new version automatically. An edited starter is left exactly as you made it, and its page tells an administrator that a newer version is available.
Common gotchas
- "A report is missing for a colleague." Their role in the module does not include the figures it is built on. Check their module role.
- "There is no download button." Your role, or your workspace's plan, does not include downloading that module's reports.
- "A name shows as a code." Names from the public record could not be read at that moment; the report says so under the table. Run it again.
